Description
An algebra-based treatment of Newtonian mechanics. Topics include kinematics and dynamics in one and two dimensions, conservation of energy and momentum, rotational motion, equilibrium, and fluids. Lab includes a series of experiments associated with the material presented in PHYS 1230. Prerequisite: MATH 1215 or permission of the instructor. This course is only offered in the fall semester. Lab Fee: $125.00. Offered: Fall, Spring.
