Description

This course is a study of the history, nature, organization, and operation of Navajo tribal government. It concentrates on teh evolution of the Navajo tribal government sicne its beginning in teh 1920's, and examines the legal and political vasis for, and the functions of, Navajo tribal government. The course brings an overview of the major contributions from each tribal administration and the political relationship of the Navajo to the state and federal governments. Offered: Fall, Spring
