Description
This course will introduce students to the science of statics. During the course students will learn how to determine the relationships between forces acting on rigid bodies at rest. Areas covered will be scalar and vector quantities, resultants, analysis of structures, friction, centroids and center of gravity. Prerequisite: MATH1230. Offered: Fall.
