Description

This course will consider the various nations that forged the rich, diverse heritage of today?s American Southwest. In particular, the course will explore the Southwest in history as well as in legend. Frontier conflict will be a prominent topic in the course?people against people, culture against culture, various people against the land, the land against people, the West against the East, and the West against itself. This course may be taken to satisfy the general education Humanities requirement. Prerequisite: C or better in ENG-109 or permission of the instructor.
