Students will be able to describe the hydrologic cycle and understand the physical principles that govern groundwater and surface water hydrology. The course includes a laboratory component that allows students to gain field experience in measuring water levels in water wells, stream gauging, making indirect discharge measurements, and collect water-quality samples from sources of groundwater and surface water. Prerequisites: MATH1220 and ENGL1110. Offered: Spring.
