Introduction to the feedback control problem. Modeling and analysis of linear continuous systems in time and frequency domains. Fundamentals of single input single output control system design. Stability criteria. Nyquist and root locus design. Introduction to analytical design. Z-transforms and digital control. Laboratory design project. Prerequisite: EE-212, EE-301.
