Description
This course presents an overview of English Language Learners: cross-cultural communication and understanding, methods in teaching English as a second language, and curriculum development. These subject areas promote the understanding of first and second language acquisition processes, facilitate the development of culturally and linguistically appropriate instructional and assessment skills, and present effective means for modifying curricula.
