    Description

    This class explores various theories of child guidance and the practical application of each. The course provides developmentally appropriate methods for guiding children and effective strategies and suggestions for preventing and handling classroom discipline problems. Positive discipline strategies for dealing with violence, aggression, anger, and stress will be explored. Emphasis is placed on helping children become self-responsible, competent, ndependent, and cooperative learners.
