Description
This course examines common elements of the culture in order to discover how they formatively influence family systems. We will seek to develop an understanding of how the effects of culture on family structures influence the individual and the perspective through which the world is viewed and interacted upon. Variances (including disabilities, race, ethnicity, gender, and social class) are addressed with respect to interaction with adults and other children. Prerequisite: Satisfactory placement scores and/or a C or higher in ENG-98.
