Description

Students will learn theoretical and practical aspects of the development of young children, focusing on different learning theories, and the need of children from birth through age eight. The important educational roles and challenges of a professional educator and significant historical roots and current practices of different early childhood education programs will be studied. The object of this study is to gain the knowledge, skills and insights necessafry to parents and families. Throughout the course, students will be expected to begin developing their own philosophy of early childhood education.
