Description

This course covers an analysis of cost data for goods and services for planning, controlling, and decision-maiking. Study of cost accounting emphasizes the concept of different costs for different purposes. The focus of study will be on cost accounting strategy and decision making process. It includes costs concepts and behavior, cost-volume-profit (break-even) analysis, relevant costs for decision making, cost estimation, job costing, activity-based costing, cost allocation, budgeting and variance analysis.
