Description

This course provides background in the anatomy and physiology fo animals. The course covers the structure and function of each body system, including skeletal, muscular, circulatory, integumentary, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urogenital, reporductive, pregnancy, development, lactatio, nervous, sense organs, endorcrine, immune, blood, lymph, and lumph ndes. this course will also cover basic physiology, metabolism, digestion, acid base balance, immunity, and unique characteristics of common domestic species. Applied laboratory experiences are invlolved. Prerequisites: BIOL-2110C, CHEM 1217C, and ENGL 1110 or 1210, and MATH 1220, and NAVA 1110 or higher. Student must even earn 75% or better to advance to the next level of courses in the major. Offered Fall semester.
