Description

This course is for students who want to learn beginning to intermediate novice reading and writing in Shiwi’ma (Zuni). Lectures are presented with emphasis on the Shiwi language (Zuni). Students will develop reading and writing skills while increasing intercultural awareness and understanding of A:shiwi (Zuni) communities and the significance of the Shiwi (Zuni) language in the past and the present, along with its contributions to Native American cultures.
