Description
This course provides background in the physiology of animals. The course covers the function and importance of multiple body systems and how they work within the body to maintain homeostasis. The body systems covered include but are not limited to skeletal, muscular, circulatory, integumentary, respiratory, cardiovascular, urogenital, reproductive, nervous, and endocrine. Applied laboratory experiences are included. Prerequisites: BIOL-2110C, CHEM1217C, ENGL1110 or 111 or 112, MATH1220, NAVA1110 or higher, and VET 090. Students must earn 75% or higher to advance to the next level of courses in the major. Offered: Fall.
