Description
This course introduces the theories, history, and relationships of economics. An introduction to principles or economics will focus primarily on the forces that drive the economy. A brief discussion about consumption, production, pricing, and employment will be included. In addition, an overview of monetary and fiscal policies will be covered. At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to identify economic causes for various political and social problems at the national and international levels.
