Description
This course will introduce students to electrical theory, analysis and design of electric circuits. Students will learn basic elements (resistors, capacitors, and inductors), power sources, Ohm?s law and Kirchoff?s law. Students will also learn about complex representations: impedance, phasors, and complex power. Resistive networks will be discussed in-depth and solved using node and loop analysis. First and second order seconds will be touched on. Prerequisite: MTH-163 & ECE-123
